Some people's intelligence is scary. This person is one of them. He automatically 3D-ifies Nintendo games, and explains how. youtube.com/watch?v=xDxjbXAqTP

Just found out that probiotic VSL#3 is no longer available in Canada, but if I want the same formulation as the original VLS#3, I need to buy from a company called Visbiome.

Sadly they aren't selling Visbiome in capsules. Maybe it's time for me to make yogurt in small containers for daily use.

"There is no trust in a world where anyone can invent their own definition for #OpenSource, and without trust there is no community, no collaboration, and no innovation." So true, way to many companies tries to trick you today by pretending, that Open Source just mean that you can see the source code. That's neither Open Source, nor #FreeSoftware, don't get fooled! opensource.org/node/966

I realize I made this same complaint not too long ago, but it comes up each time my partner and I want to discuss planning. Org-mode is awesome for my tasks, but the minute we need to share between us and make plans, we can't.

I love org-mode but I do have to say that not having a nice way to collaborate on it is a hindrance.

We really need something that's like etherpad or Collabora but able to use org-mode files. Otherwise I'll eventually need to switch. But since nothing else is better, I have no idea what I'd switch to!

A massive messup on my end means I've lost 5 days of Mastadon... It's 1am, I'm jet lagged and tired. Bleh. Tomorrow I edit the show and do no sys-adminry.

Since doing @librelounge I've gotten a few posts to my AP feed about what people don't like. I used to try to reply to every one, but instead I'm doing this:

If you ask a (legitimate) question, I'll try to answer. If you are answering a question of mine, I'll try to at least favorite or reply.

If you are just going to tell me something you don't like, especially in the form of telling me that I suck, I see no reason to spend energy on that. If I suck, please don't waste your time on me.

The Mozilla Foundation has a podcast called IRL. In a recent episode they talked about passwords and basically ended the episode advocating the use of proprietary password managers, specifically LastPass and OnePass.

LastPass has had number of security breaches over the years. Mozilla is a non-profit that creates Free Software, and even has a password manager built into Firefox that is FLOSS, and even self-hostable. Why are they advocating people use inferior stuff to their own?
