Free Mobile OSes

I've heard about marketplace alternatives for proprietary apps on Free OSes that don't use Android Marketplace.

I don't want to use proprietary apps, but sometimes there isn't really a choice.

Does anyone have a link to one of these marketplaces for things like Lyft, banking apps, etc?

@emacsen They won't have any of those. Afaik of the alternative OSes Sailfish has the best app support and you won't find apps for most tasks in its biggest repo (openrepos.net). The good news is that lyft's web app works even on phones.

@emacsen Are you thinking about the front-end, like the Aurora Store [https://f-droid.org/en/packages/com.aurora.store/ ] or an actual alternative marketplace? For the latter, there are places like Aptoide [ https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Aptoide ] , which I think developed part of the infrastructure that F-Droid uses.
