I'm editing @librelounge We have an on the ground recorded show that has sub-optimal audio.

I'm wondering about releasing it with a warning about how bad the audio is, because the content is still good.

Would love opinions! Feedback?

@emacsen Is it stuff like background noise? If so I've had some luck with Audacity noise reduction in the past. manual.audacityteam.org/man/no

If recording quality yeah there's only so much you can squeeze out of that. :)

@downey It's nothing that can be automatically removed. It's stuff like a child yelling in the background, someone breathing near the mic while someone else is talking, or someone rubbing their pants.

Ah, human stuff 😆

I guess go for the up-front warning, unless it's fairly easy to schedule an online/phone re-recording?

@emacsen @downey content++

but now I want closed-captioning
